Pretty hard to get into if you are not a member but worth it if you are a good blagger. This is the haunt of the media and celebs. With a discreet almost missable entrance situated in Soho, you will find yourself surrounded by media moguls and celebrities yearning for a quite drink, earnestly sipping cocktails and wine and doing the social cha cha.
Inside, despite it’s esteemed history it is not altogether impressive however service and product is very impressive. The snooker room in particular is worth checking out as it is probably one of the more impressive rooms on offer. You can pop into the Groucho for a simple drink or book a function room – or even a bedroom. There is also rather nice resteraunt, which as expected is excellent. Not one of the pubs in London you would visit for a pub crawl but if you are looking for a change, give it a go.
