UK, the island country comprising of Great Britain, parts of Ireland and many small islands, boasts of the world famous universities like Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard. Many of the greatest Presidents, Prime Ministers, Writers and Statesmen were moulded and presented to the world by these universities.
It will be interesting, informative and inspiring to go through the educational systems practiced in this part of the world. When we speak of education of UK, it would be improper to avoid the educational adaptations in the neighbouring countries like Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Statistics show that Ireland stands top in ranks scored in academic exams.

There are single sex schools and co-ed schools in all these countries. There is CEE (Common Entrance Exam) to gain entry into highly selective schools.
